Haluk Ulusoy is the Managing Partner of InterConsult, an associated company to 6 Sigma Financial Consultancy.

Based in Istanbul, the firm is specialized in management and financial consultancy services within the Banking Industries of Emerging Markets, (Eastern Europe, Central Asia , the Middle East and Africa).

Haluk is additionally a Senior Consultant with 6 Sigma Financial Consultancy as well as a Board Member in Calik Investment Bank in Turkey, and Chairman of an Albanian bank with capitalization of over USD 1.5 billion.

Haluk has 20 years of experience in Banking and Consultancy. He was the CEO of YatirimBank, an Investment Bank from Turkey, for 5 years before joining InterConsult. Prior to that, he was Vice President for one year at Citibank Turkey, where he was mandated to set up Retail and Private Banking.

He also worked in the post of Vice President for 6 years at Saudi American Bank, following various roles as Treasurer and Head of Corporate Finance. Haluk started his banking career in Akbank , Turkey where he worked for 2 years before joining Saudi American Bank.

Haluk has long years of experience in Financial Consultancy including 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, 5 years of experience in Banking, 2 years experience in bank privatizations and 3 years experience in IPOs. He also acted as advisor to a number of multinationals in various acquisitions ranging from white goods to food industry.

He also benefits from experience in management consultancy where he established few turnkey investment banks and mutual funds and restructured numerous banks, ranging from development banks and large commercial banks to private banks to state-owned banks.

Haluk has a BA in Economics from Gazi University, Ankara and a post graduate degree in Development Economics from the University of Stratchclyde, in Glasgow. He was also a postgraduate lecturer on Investment Banking at Marmara University for seven years.
